With the summer months finally upon us, I’m sure we’re not the only ones hoping that the rest of 2022 will bring lovely weather and a lot of good memories to be made with loved ones. With the arrival of the sun we are loving welcoming family and friends through our front doors and into open arms. With so much to look forward to, now seems the perfect time to prepare your kitchen space for summer guests once again.
As with every new year, 2022 has already brought with it a change in the form of new trends emerging into our kitchen spaces. We thought we’d share three concepts that we think will continue into the second half of the year, in the hope that it’ll provide you with the inspiration you need to transform the heart of your home into a kitchen that you love.
Clever Storage Solutions
Storage options are constantly evolving to ensure your kitchen space is efficient and functions to it’s full potential. With the majority of the ranges we offer at Moorgate, the storage options included are completely customisable to the needs of you and your family.
Whether you need somewhere to stock up on food, or you’re looking for a home for your range of cookbooks, let us know and we can keep your needs in mind when it comes to the design process.
Instant Hot Water
Thanks to the huge number of benefits that come with a Quooker tap, we\’d be silly not to believe that these appliances will continue to fly off the shelves and into our kitchens in 2022.
According to Ideal Homes, Google searches for hot water taps increased by 25% in 2020 – suggesting that they’re hear to stay.
Quooker taps have so many advantages beyond the instant boiling water, and when paired with the Quooker CUBE they can also dispense sparkling and filtered water instantly from the same tap.
Simple Spaces
The past few years have been anything but simple, so many of you may opt for a more subtle and calm space to relax in at the end of a long day. Clean lines and minimalist designs have been a common feature in 2022, a design style that is still requested by many.
There are so many ways to create a minimal kitchen, from handless designs to neutral colour schemes.
A simple space is a great way to ensure cleanliness and hygiene in your kitchen – something that will still be at the forefront of our way of life going into the second half of 2022.
There’s no real way in saying what the rest of the year will bring, but we will definitely be embracing the idea of change with open arms. If your interior inspirations haven’t made the list, why not go against the grain and make your own trends for next 6 months to come.
